Meet our friendly English-speaking guide at the port and board our comfortable vessel. The total tour duration is up to three hours. Once whales are located, we spend approximately one hour observing them from a respectful distance, giving you the chance to see spectacular breaches, tail slaps, and surface behaviors while prioritizing the animals’ safety and well-being.
On this tour, you’ll explore the mangroves of the Hijya River while paddling in a kayak. You’ll arrive at the facility for your experience and fill in all the necessary forms before the tour begins. Then you’ll put on a life jacket and marine shoes and head to the field with your paddle. You’ll have a safety briefing on how to use the paddle, proceed, change directions and stop the kayak.
Then you’ll begin your kayaking activity on the Hija River. You’ll have around an hour to explore the mangroves. You’ll get to see some creatures in the mangrove where the waters are shallow. Then you may also spot gobies and small crabs in the swamp.
You’ll be accompanied by an expert guide who will share insights into the mangroves. After your kayaking activity is complete, you’ll have access to a changing room to freshen up before you leave.
Explore the stunning waters of Kerama National Park on a half-day snorkeling adventure. Swim in crystal-clear seas, discover colorful coral reefs and tropical fish, and—with a bit of luck—spot a sea turtle. Complimentary photos are included.
The boat anchors at one selected spot near the Keise Islands, the closest area of Kerama National Park. The captain selects the safest and most beautiful snorkeling location based on sea conditions. Visibility and marine life may vary due to tides and currents. and cannot be guaranteed.
