  • Secrets of Västerås: Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt & Walking Tour

In Västerås, a GPS-based city game will guide you on a self‑guided walking tour that mixes sightseeing with puzzles and stories. As you move through the city, you will encounter landmarks such as Västerås Cathedral, Västerås Castle, the City Hall, the City Library and the Konsthall. The route is built around those spots so you will learn local history and hidden stories while you explore at your own pace. Along the way you will solve questions, riddles and puzzles, and complete creative photo tasks to score points, unlock extra clues and work towards a final mystery. You can play alone for a personal challenge or team up with friends, family or colleagues for a competitive game or team‑building exercise. The experience will let you pause and continue later, and you may choose to compete for a place on the leaderboard if you want a more competitive edge.

  • In this self-guided detective game, the streets of Västerås become your crime scene. The investigation takes you through the old centre past Västerås Domkyrka, Västerås Castle, Stora Torget and Västerås Konstmuseum as you follow clues linked to the murder of Balthasar. Along the way you will notice details in plain sight and piece together scattered evidence. You will decode messages, photograph anything that does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects, narrowing the case until the final answer reveals itself somewhere in the centre of Västerås. The game suits a couple or a family outing and can be played by two or three teams at the same time to turn the investigation into a race, which also makes it suitable for team outings as well as a day out.
