On this tour, you’ll follow your guide through the Hammerbrook district in Hamburg in order to learn about the Allied bombing raids during World War II. You’ll hear about the raids, which were called Operation Gomorrah and were the heaviest in the war up to that point. As you walk, you’ll see bunkers and Nazi sites among other relevant points in the city. You’ll even get to listen to historic audio documents from World War II.

The meeting point for this experience is the Berliner Tor S-Bahn station, at the exit Beim Strohhause. Look for your guide carrying a sign that reads "Stattreisen Hamburg e.V." The tour will end at the fire station at Berlinor Tor. Please arrive at the meeting point at least ten minutes prior to the tour start time.
