On this tour from Munich, you'll get scenic views of the German Alpine Road from the Eagle's Nest – a building once used by Nazi Party members that's now a seasonal restaurant, beer garden and tourist site.
After a drive through the valley and up the mountains, you’ll arrive at the Eagle's Nest. Should you wish, you'll have time to visit the NS-Documentation Center or the memorial site to victims of World War II.
Constructed by the Nazi regime between 1937 and 1938, the Eagle's Nest was originally known as the Kehlsteinhaus. Set atop a rocky outcrop above the Obersalzberg, it was due to be a high command post but was eventually gifted to Adolf Hitler on his 50th birthday.
