On this full-day tour of northern Gran Canaria, you’ll discover the scenery, biodiversity and hidden gems of the underrated region. You’ll begin with a guided tour of the hillside Jardin Canario, Spain’s largest botanical gardens. In the tree-lined grounds, you’ll find more than 2000 species of flora, and you’ll learn about local conservation efforts.
Your next stop will be a banana plantation, where 13 varieties from different parts of the world are cultivated. You’ll also make a pit stop at the Mercado de Puerto to browse typical produce before heading to your final destination – Las Canteras Beach. Here, at one of the world’s best urban beaches, you’ll have free time to relax, stroll along the promenade and view the eclectic architecture of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium building.
