On this small-group tour from Barcelona, you’ll explore four medieval towns in Catalonia. At Vic, you’ll embark on a walking tour to see the Episcopal Museum, Cathedral and Main Square. After lunch, you’ll continue on to Garrotxa to observe the volcanoes and Santa Pau for a walking tour of its medieval streets.
You can also head to Castellfollit de la Roca, a medieval town sitting on the edge of a basalt cliff from which you can enjoy mountainous valley views. The tour will continue to Besalú, where your guide will provide insights into the Jewish community who resided here between the 9th and 15th centuries. You’ll also get the chance to cross the town’s Romanesque bridge before heading back to Barcelona.
