On this one-hour tour, you will get to visit the centuries-old Tower of London in the company of a Yeoman Warder, popularly known as a Beefeater. Your guide, in full Beefeater attire, will share stories of pain, passion and treachery associated with the site.
You'll have the chance to see the Tower Green where three English queens were executed, as well as the White Tower where Richard III allegedly imprisoned and assassinated his two nephews who were royal princes. You can also hear about the origins of the Beefeater guardsmen and learn more about the ravens that occupy the Tower of London.
Last but not least, you'll get to see the collection of Crown Jewels that have been closely guarded at the Tower of London for several centuries. As your tour is scheduled early in the morning, you will be free to explore the Tower of London at your own pace for as long as you like after.
