Initially being built around canals in the beginning of 19th Century and being a home to many involved in the building of the railway networks, Camden was Catapulted into 1960s counter-culture consciousness by Pink Floyd's concert at the Roundhouse.
Camden Town took over from Soho as London's bohemian and has evolved into a bohemian, artistic and musical centre of culture since 1980’s.
Camden is known for its world-famous independent markets Street Art scene, and of course, Amy Winehouse!
