This full-day trip will introduce you to a standout gem of the Dodecanese Islands, the culture-rich Symi. You'll take the ferry from Rhodes to the island, where you'll be immersed in its laid-back charm. Your first stop will be the large, Venetian-style Panormitis Monastery, famed for its Byzantine frescoes and icon of St Michael. You'll also have fantastic views of the water from its location, tucked away in a secluded bay. You'll have free time to explore the site at your own pace before sailing on to Symi town. Here, you'll be greeted by views of the iconic pastel-hued houses, and you'll go on a guided tour. Your final activity of the day will be visiting a sponge maker to learn about the traditional industry of sponge diving. You'll receive a small gift to take home with you.
