Scenic Flight to Landmannalaugar (20–25 minutes)
After takeoff, you’ll head toward the breathtaking highlands of Landmannalaugar. On the way, enjoy aerial views of Háifoss, one of Iceland’s tallest and most beautiful waterfalls. You’ll also fly over lava fields, remote lakes, steaming hot springs, and the vibrant rhyolite mountains that make this region so iconic.
Landing & Exploration (30 minutes)
Your pilot will carefully land the helicopter at a safe peak offering a panoramic view of the entire valley. Here, you’ll have 30 minutes to explore, take photos, and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Your pilot will be happy to assist with pictures and answer any questions about the area.
Return Flight to Base (20–25 minutes)
On your return journey to Tungufell, you’ll fly over untouched highland landscapes, winding rivers, and picturesque remote areas that few people ever get to see. This final leg is just as stunning as the outbound flight.
