On this guided small-group tour, you will travel to the Western Region of Iceland and explore the Silver Circle area and the Vidgelmir Lava Cave. Your first stop will be Deildartunguhver, considered to be the most powerful hot spring in Europe. You will continue to Hraunfossar, a series of waterfalls that stream out of the Hallmundarhraun lava field, and Barnafoss, which translates to children’s waterfall.
Afterwards, you will head to Vidgelmir, a cave that stretches roughly 1,600 metres long within a lava flow. Inside, you will find extraordinary ice and rock formations, with the ceiling and floor of some areas decorated with stalactites and stalagmites, respectively.
Your last stops will be the extraordinary woodlands of Husafell and Snorralaug, a historic outdoor hot bath at Reykholt.
