You’ll begin your tour by travelling west to the Snæfellsjökull volcano, which is the highest peak in this region of Iceland. After enjoying the stunning views, you’ll continue your journey to the charming Ytri-Tunga farm, which is located near a beach that is home to a colony of seals. While there, you can relax and watch the playful seals sunbathe in the surf.
You’ll then be taken to a coastal area near the villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar, where you’ll stroll the cliffs and admire the moss-covered rock formations that dot the coastline. Next, you'll reach Djúpalónssandur, which is a unique beach made up of black sand. The beach features famous lifting stones, which were used to measure the strength of fishermen who once worked and lived along the coast.
Finally, you’ll reach Kirkjufell mountain, which is surrounded by trickling rivers and is known to be a popular photography spot in Iceland. After snapping some pictures, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation in Reykjavik.
