This self-guided tour will allow you to discover the Doge's Palace at your own pace. Along the way, a digital audio guide will teach you all about the roles each one played in Venice's captivating history. At the Doge's Palace, you'll receive fast-track entry – meaning you'll waste no time in observing its variety of statues, paintings, majestic gilded ceilings and frescoed walls.
You'll then make your way across the Bridge of Sighs and venture down into the Venetian prison where you can hear the tale of Casanova's daring escape. You'll also receive skip-the-line tickets for Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marcian. The tour can be cancelled due to exceptionally high tides or in case of religious functions taking place. In such situations, you will either be provided with an alternative date or a refund.
For security reasons, bags are not allowed inside the Doge's Palace. However, you can deposit them for free into a secure storage area upon entry.
The audio guide includes highlights of the Venice area, the Isles of Murano, Burano, Torcello, and the Grand Canal.
Please note that the tour price includes skip-the-line admission to Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana.
