This experience will offer two culinary activities in a day – a local market visit and a private cooking class at a Cesarina's home. A Cesarina is a trained Italian home chef, who's a part of the Cesarine network that preserves age-old culinary traditions of Italy.
Led by a Cesarina, you'll first visit the vibrant local market and its traditional food shops. You'll learn how to recognise and buy the best products for authentic Tuscan dishes. Afterwards, you'll attend a private cooking class at your host's home. You will assist your host with the preparation of a four-course meal and gain insights into Lucca's regional delicacies.
At the end of the class, you will be able to taste the fruits of your labour, comprising a starter, a pasta dish, main course with a side dish and dessert – all paired with local wines.
