This round-trip ropeway ticket will provide you with the opportunity to get to the top of Mount Tengu. At 532 metres, you will be treated to panoramic views of Ishikari Bay and the Shakotan Peninsula. Here, you will also find the Otaru Ski Museum and Tengu Exhibition Room, which feature displays dedicated to Tengu – the mythical creature that the mountain was named after.
You will also receive a postcard and a discount voucher that you can use at the shop or the restaurant at Mount Tengu.

The nearest train station is Otaru, served by the JR line. From here, a 17-minute bus ride will take you to the ropeway.
If you are driving, the ropeway is about 55 minutes from Sapporo-Minami Interchange and 15 minutes from Otaru Interchange.
Children aged 0–5 years can enter for free.
A surcharge of JPY 500 per person will apply if the use of the bobsled exceeds one hour.
Skiing equipment and snow clothing can be rented for an additional amount of JPY 8,500 for participants aged 13 years and above.
The price of the optional Family Lift is JPY 300. Please pay in cash directly on site.
Please note that the slider may be closed depending on the weather. In such situations, you will be provided with original goods or merchandise as a substitute. Please inquire at the ticket office.
Note that if you use the ski lift to get to the top of the mountain, you will need skiing equipment.
In winter, the period and time when rental sleds can be used are subject to change depending on snowfall conditions. Please refer to the official website for the latest information before departure.
The JPY 1,000 meal voucher that can be used at the restaurant for food items amounting to a maximum of JPY 1,000. Please pay in cash on site.
