Game drives are a great way to experience the park and they take place all year round. Wherever you visit the magnificent Mara you will see several wildlife. The Maasai Mara is also famous for its wildebeest migration from July through to October. Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search of fresh green pastures and water. This is the largest migration of animals in the world. No experience can be compared to seeing the mass movement of the beautiful animals. Lake Nakuru is located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visit the lake.
