Mt. Seorak, also known as Seoraksan, was designated a Natural Monument preservation area. In December 1973, it became a national park, and in August 1982, it was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Unique rock formations and waterfalls create breathtaking views throughout Seorak.
Between Mt. Seorak and Nami Island, you can also enjoy a Rail Bike ride if you want to take in the scenery more up close.
Lastly, Nami Island is famous for its romantic atmosphere, where the drama Winter Sonata was filmed. Enjoy walking paths lined with metasequoia, ginkgo, and cherry trees, as well as art installations at every corner.
