This tour will start with a visit to Zaanse Schans, a beautiful neighbourhood known for its iconic windmills and wooden houses. You'll proceed to Afsluitdijk, a 32-kilometre-long dam that stands as a fine example of Dutch marine engineering.
The tour will take you to the idyllic province of Friesland where can stroll along the canal-side streets in Sloten. You'll make a stop at the fishing village of Urk where you can walk to the lighthouse, and then visit the Elburg, a medieval fortified town.
