The Skywire is one of the world’s longest Flying Fox experiences. Your visit begins at the Base area, where a short mini-bus ride will take you up through the Native Forest to the launch platform. Along the way, guides will share facts and stories about the forest, and point out local landmarks and surrounding areas so you can enjoy the setting before you ride.
The Skywire carries up to four people at a time and can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h. The experience includes both forward-facing and backwards journeys, with 800 metres of gravity-assisted freewheeling in each direction and a further 700 metres of scenic travel each way. The route returns you to the start, combining high-speed sections with longer stretches for taking in the forest and views below.
