On this full-day hiking tour, you’ll explore Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain. Your local guide will help you explore this part of the Andes while you discover panoramic views across the local landscapes and the Ausangate Mountain. Along the way, you’ll explore the peak at Cusipata and discover Cusco mountain, an area sacred to the ancient Inca people.

This activity requires a good acclimatisation with at least full 48 hours in Cusco's downtown altitude.
The required dress code for this experience is mid-weight thermal underwear, top and bottom, hiking socks, synthetic or wool hiking pants and polar jackets.
The recommended travel accessories are sunglasses with a retainer strap, sunblock, lip balm, toiletry kit, small washcloth, a personal first-aid kit and hand sanitiser gel.
It is recommended to bring local currency (Peruvian Sol) for drinks, snacks, tips, souvenirs and for horseback riding service.
The minimum altitude for this experience is Cusipata at 10,889 feet while the maximum altitude is Vinicunca at 16,700 feet. The total walking distance is seven kilometres.
