On this tour, you will have a chance to go hiking along the northern coast of São Miguel Island. Departing from Ponta Delgada, you’ll start at the foot of Lomba de São Pedro church and hike for about 5.5 km while admiring the scenic views, before reaching Portela do Homem Waterfall. Along the way, you can also stop for a small picnic.
The hike will continue with you exploring spots like the Felix watermill ruins and Teofilo Waterfall. If weather permits, there will also be a chance for you to go for a splash in any waterfall of your choosing. Before rounding off your tour for the day, your guide will show you the fountain that once supplied water to the nearby villages.
