On this cruise, you will get onboard a luxurious glass-bottom boat and swim at some of the most beautiful places in Halkidiki. You will sail through the crystal clear waters of Vourvourou Bay to reach the Blue Lagoon islet. Here, you can go swimming and snorkeling and explore the underwater marine life that thrives on yellow corals. You will be served traditional Greek souvlaki pork at lunch before heading towards Alikes Lagoon, where you can again go for a swim.
On this cruise tour, you'll explore the monasteries of Mount Athos and the beautiful island of Ammouliani. You'll start your five-hour boat tour from the port of Ouranoupolis and head towards the western section of Mount Athos peninsula. As you cruise along the sea, you'll get a glimpse of six out of the nine monasteries in the mountain peninsula and learn about their history and architecture from the audio guide onboard.
During the tour, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to spend on Ammouliani island. The ship stops at the center of the village every Tuesday and at Alykes beach every Thursday and Sunday, where you can go swimming and diving from the boat.
Our cruise will start from Ouranoupolis, also known as The Gate to Mount Athos, as it is the last settlement before the border between the Monastic State and the rest of the world.
During our journey you will observe 8 of 20 ancient monasteries of Mount Athos and will discover the history of this secluded place, accessed from the sea and allowed to men only, for more than 1000 years.
