Named after the most common profession of its inhabitants – fishing – Isola dei Pescatori is dotted with picturesque houses and narrow, winding lanes. You'll be able to try out a variety of fish dishes here, or buy souvenirs from a local craft shop. The boat will also take you to another of the Borromean Islands, known as Isola Bella. Covering this island is the Borromeo Palace, a 17th-century structure with scenic views of Lake Maggiore.
