Aelan Chocolate Makers is 80% owned by the local NGO ACTIV (Alternative Communities Trade In Vanuatu), which supports cocoa producers and island communities with training in best agricultural practices and help with market access. On Saturdays production work is not shown because it is clean-up day, but explanations and tastings are still included.
