This interactive walking tour will introduce you to the heritage and traditions of Singaporean coffee and tea, locally known as kopi and cha. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you to a variety of destinations like one of the country’s oldest tea merchants, a contemporary bubble-tea shop and a secret store selling original coffee and tea wares.
You’ll learn the differences between various tea blends, try your hand at folding a tea packet, sample medicinal tea in Chinatown and learn all about coffee culture and its connection to the history of immigrant Chinese labourers. Your tour will include a typical lunch in a local restaurant, accompanied by a curated tea pairing.
