Accrokite Koh Phangan is the only IKO‑affiliated kite school on Koh Phangan, linked to the IKO (International Kitesurfing Organization), the world’s largest kiteboarding organisation — you can verify this on the IKO website. As you train with the school, you will follow the IKO curriculum designed to teach kite skills progressively and safely.
The experience centres on an internship-style training path that leads to an IKO licence once you reach level 3K (riding upwind). Achieving that level means you will be able to rent equipment. Your certification is issued online and will act as a passport for continuing IKO training elsewhere in the world. Through your IKO account you will also have access to instructional videos and other educational tools to help you move through the IKO levels.
