On this adventurous hike, you’ll spend the day exploring the lower levels of the mighty Mt. Kilimanjaro. You’ll begin with a trek to the start of the Marangu Route, situated at an altitude of 6463 ft. From here, you’ll spend three hours hiking through Montane Forest to Mandara Hut, just below the Maundi Crater, reaching a high point of 8858 ft.

During your hike, you’ll discover the mountain’s diverse vegetation, spot wildlife like the black and white colobus monkeys and various colourful bird species and take in unforgettable views. A local guide will accompany you, and you’ll enjoy lunch during your expedition.
