On this self-guided audio tour, you will have the opportunity to discover San Francisco's historic Japantown on your own.
This audio tour recorded by the storyteller and activist Kristin Eriko Posner will take you to explore one of the oldest Japanese neighbourhoods in the country. Along the way, you will visit local attractions and businesses, including Paper Tree, Benkyodo and Hinodeya Ramen, as well as listen to stories related to the food, culture and history of this quarter.
You will have the option to start the tour at the Red Torii Gate any day or time, but preferably between 10:30 and 15:30 from Wednesday to Saturdays to find all business open.
