You have probably heard that Cape Town has a lot to offer to its visitors, that is true. One of advantages of doing this tour, is that you will visit two of the most iconic landmarks of Cape Town, Table Mountain and Robben Island in one day.
These days a trip to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-do on the itinerary of any tourist to Cape Town.
Forget palm trees and sun-kissed beaches; Robben Island’s allure lies rich in History. South Africa’s first democratically elected president – Nelson Mandela – spent 18 years of his 27 years in prison on Robben Island. Easily the most famous of the island’s political prisoners, Mandela was by no means the island’s only notable inmate – South African presidents Kgalema Motlanthe and Jacob Zuma also spent time there.
When You hear the name Cape Town, You think of Table Mountain. From the top you will have a panoramic view of city bowl, the beaches, Robben Island, the harbour and the sea side of this the Mother City.
