Our tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation around 10am, heading to the vibrant Bo-Kaap, where brightly painted houses & streets reflect Cape Malay heritage. You’ll learn about the community’s roots and impact on Cape Town’s culture.
From Bo-Kaap, we head down to lively Long Street, where Victorian-era buildings meet buzzing bars and vintage boutiques — each step revealing another layer of the city’s character.
Next, we explore Greenmarket Square, filled with local art, handmade goods, and textiles — a vibrant showcase of Cape Town’s creativity.
We continue past Saint Georges Mall, the Slave Lodge, and City Hall, where historic speeches once echoed. You may visit an exhibition on Nelson Mandela.
In District Six, we reflect on stories of forced removals and resilience that shaped Cape Town’s identity.
Enjoy a traditional South African lunch (own account), then ride the cable car up Table Mountain for breathtaking views before returning to your accommodation.
