The property is located in a semi-rural region and is set back from the main road, making it a very quiet location. The apartment itself is in excellent condition with tasteful art-work through it' The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made the stay very enjoyable.

We stayed at Tom's and Ingrid's for a bit more than a week. We booked the apartment on the ground floor and were not aware of how spacious it was. Up to 7 beds could be found (we needed only 1, so you can imagine how much space stayed for us). The apartment is well equipped. You can expect a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a huge balcony overlooking the alpine scenery, a parking lot (for free), an extra toilet...you name it. Tom and Ingrid are such a sweet couple and whenever you need something you are more than welcome to ask them. With the stay at their place you also get a tourist card which allows you to get free rides on certain cable cars and chair lifts, free entrance to a museum etc but also some discounts on other attractions in the region (which includes parts of North Eastern Italy too). The apartment ist close to the main road in Gailtal but as the bedrooms are facing the mountain scenery you hardly hear any car. Would we stay there again? Of course. Very comfortable and very well-equipped house. Quiet location, amazing terrace with nice mountain views. The hosts are very friendly and supportive. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely like to come again!

Although it is a spacious chalet that offers enough space for a family of four, it feels really cozy. The owners have created a nice interior in the same log cabin style as the chalet itself. Everything is of a decent quality and looks really new. The living room has a beautiful wood pellet stove, which we weren't able to try out though because of the nice weather. There is a small terrace facing south with a few at the surrounding mountains. The chalet is in a small village that offers a few restaurants. Grocery shopping can be done in the bigger town of Hermagor, 5 kilometres down the road. Because of the restaurants nearby, we did not cook any meals. It is still worth mentioning though, that the host equipped the kitchen with salt and a few basic spices. Also, there was not only a coffee maker and filters, but also a box of ground coffee ready for use. A very nice detail! The surrounding area is stunning, and although there should be some winter sports activity, the scenery is not at all ruined by skiing infrastructure. We were here in late September, which to my opinion is an excellent period for day hikes.

Everything was great! The apartments are new, warm, very clean, comfortable and have everything you need. They exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, very close to lake Pressegger, and only 15 minutes to Tröpolach. The view from the balcony is wonderful. I hope we will come again, both for skiing and in the summer.

I know the apartment doesn't look like much in the pictures and I wasn't expecting much, but we were actually really really happy with it. It had absolutely everything we needed and the fact that it wasn't super modern, new and intact made me feel relaxed as I didn't have to watch absolutely every move my kids made and fret they were going to damage or scratch something. I am a dog owner but didn't bring her to the holiday but if you have a dog, they are super welcomed here. The area is beautifully green, the beach you get a pass to is very beautiful and clean, the restaurant is awesome. There are train tracks right next to the building, but the train is so quiet that after a while we didn't even notice it anymore, except my son who ran to the balcony to see every single passing train - he was so excited. We really enjoyed our holiday! :)

Wonderful and delightful. Tamara very hospitable and welcoming. She was very helpful in connecting me with nearby relatives who I have not seen in 47 years. The owner, too, was extremely approachable and kind. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights.
