Nice and comfortable new appartement with everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Cosy atmosphere. Living room on the second floor has view over the fields. Kitchen with oven and microwave. 2 parking spots available.

This is very spacious duplex appartment, with modern and high-end equipments. The decor is tasteful and contemporary. The two large terraces would have been great had it not been a wet and cold weekend. On the other hand, the place was toasty and warm all day and all night. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need, the bathroom offers twin sinks and a nice deep bath. With two allocated parking spaces, three double bedrooms (one of which is an ensuite and situated downstairs) and a separate toilet, the apartment would accommodate a six persons party very comfortably.

The house was superb. Great amount of space, clean. We were lucky to have great weather, so we managed to have all breakfasts, lunches and dinners outside. There was a gas BBQ available for us to use. Pretty much everything was there, from egg cup holders to sharp knives, a washing machine (we didn't need it as we were only there for a few days), dishwasher, microwave, oven etc. A supermarket very nearby and a lovely bakery about 1km away. The owner/host was super friendly, as was everyone we met in the area. If you need a Covid test done, then the owner/host can point you in the right direction of a local pharmacy who can do them.

The host and hostess were wonderfully welcoming and always ready to help out. They made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and hiking routes. The room has a private entrance, next to the horse pen, wtih a wooden path leading to the door. The private entrance, along with a private terras provide for a quiet getaway. We greatly recommend the breakfast that we ordered additionally. It was brought to our room at the agreed time each morning and we opted to have breakfast in the garden as the weather was stunning.

This was a fantastic little place. Very quirky, very old house - the layout is unusual, with stairs leading in every direction! The beds were the most comfortable we have stayed in during our holidays, and everything was spotlessly clean. Matthew, the host, was exceptionally communicative, messaging to check if we were okay and to ask if we needed anything. His directions and details on how to enter the house were great. He was friendly and helpful, and had good local knowledge. From the house, it took 20 minutes to drive to the Eurotunnel at Calais, so it's a great location. It's in a tiny village, with an AMAZING restaurant (Le Petite Brocante) within walking distance of the house. The road outside was very quiet, it was peaceful and we slept very well. I'm not adding this as a negative, because it doesn't have to be (the house is charming and really interesting!) but I wouldn't recommend you booking if you have young children as the stairs are rather steep and open straight from the second bedroom. My teenager was fine and very happy with his room!
