Perfect seaside, quiet and peaceful location. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful house and garden with lots of space and character. The host, Apollon, is very nice, helpful and thoughtful. Appolon's gesture of filling the fridge with local fresh veggies, fruits, feta and vines before our arrival was awesome. Oh, there was also a fantastic local honey! The daily home delivery fresh bakery was great, and if you are lucky, a local fisherman can come to your door with the catching of the day! We were there as a big family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location facing the sea. Owners always available and kind. Excellent cuisine (the best souvlaki in Samos!). Balos is the quietest and most romantic area on the island, ideal for couples. Wonderful sea and beach.

The most relaxing getaway we have ever done thanks to the lovely hotel owners and the calming and welcoming vibe of this beach. Once you open your window, you could hear the waves and see the turquoise-colour sea. The beach is the most beautiful beach we have ever visited. You could literally see everything through 10m depth. It's not that rocky, more a pebble-like beach(great for kids to play the stones), which is fantastic for swimming/snorkelling and free-diving. The total people on this (not-so-small)beach would be 10 max so you could really relax completely and have your own quality time with friends or family. The restaurant that is run by the hotel owner's father exceeds our expectation. We didn't intend to dine out 3 times a day(there's a well-equipped shared kitchen) as a mom easily gets tired of other people's cuisine, however, we couldn't resist our joy each time to come downstairs to say hi to the sweetest-ever hotel family and the friendly guests(that's the vibe of this area) and eventually enjoy our great meals while hearing the waves and sensing the sea nearby. As a family of divers and open-water swimmers, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves the authentic cuisine of Samos and the original hospitality/generosity of Greek.

We just had the most lovely stay at princess Tia. I would recommend it any time to anyone who enjoys a nice and beautiful accommodation! Not touristic and very nice restaurants in the surrounding where you can go by foot. Located at such a nice side of the island, the nature is beautiful and the sights of the island blue and clear see are breathtaking! We went snorkelling in the sea right in front of the apartments and it was so nice! The rooms are nice, big and clean with airconditioning! The pool is perfect, and it is located next to the beach (with really comfortable beds). The family who runs te place are also very nice. They have many tips an recommendations for everything you need to know about the island. They feel like family while staying there! I was so sad to leave. And we are sure that we will visit again!

I was looking for a quite and peacefull place to go with my wife. We stayed different places of the island I can honestly say that this place is the best place in the island. Nikos is very friendly homeowner he has prepared everything before we reach there. The home is just next to the beach and you can go out from patio and jump in to the cold eagen sea water. There are very good two different restaurant in walking way distance. You will find more than you expect.

The hospitality and warm welcome of the owners made us feel immediately "at home" in this beautiful cottage. The couple did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible (wine, beer, water, eggs,... in the refrigerator; sweets for breakfast; a nice chat;....). The house is situated on a hill overlooking the sea. A very quiet environment among olive trees. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is small but functional with a good shower and a washing machine. The terrace is a pleasant place to stay with a view of the sea. There are sun beds and recliners with cushions. And there is a "private" beach that you can reach in 15 minutes through a path. There are plenty of restaurants in the area (we recommend: Akrogiali in Balos and Bella Vista in Pefkos Beach) and shops (in Ormos). A car is necessary as there is nothing within walking distance. It is not necessary to have a 4wd but once you leave the main road it is still a five minute drive over a sometimes bumpy road. Minas and Rodopi, we had a wonderful holiday here, thanks again for the enormous hospitality, the many hints and treats.
