I was ill during my time in Riohacha and the family did everything to make me feel comfortable. They are all so caring and will really go out of their way to help you. The rooms are clean, the aircon is good and there’s a great outdoor space to sit and relax.

The warmth of our hosts, Cata and Cesar was incredible from the moment we arrived. They were so welcoming and did everything possible to make sure our stay was perfect. The tent is clean and spacious, and the bathroom/jacuzzi/sofa area downstairs is great for relaxing in the shade. The ambience of the site is amazing, feels so tranquil and relaxing. Offering a lovely garden/chill out area and views of the mountain, Bella Flor Hostel Palomino is situated in Palomino, halfway between the beach and the main drive. I always go back to Bella Flor because they offer such a family-like treatment to their guests and I love the private rooms. They have just enabled their top floor for yoga classes and other activities and it's so chill!
