The location was fantastic - amazing views of mountains and lake. The care gone into making the yurt and the surrounds was lovely - a very special and unique place. The hosts were really lovely - made us feel welcome, checked in most days to see if we needed anything. It felt like they cared about hospitality rather than simply wanting to run the business side of it.

The family-run Seehotel Riviera at Lake Lucerne is located in the small bay of Gersau at Lake Lucerne, surrounded by a marvelous mountain scenery.

Enjoyed everything about this place! Johnny met us for checkin. Sabrina was a server in alllll the restaurants and was very attentive. Amy was our server for an incredible steak dinner at 400 Degree steakhouse. It was definitely the time of year we visited because we felt like we were the only guests there. There’s no way this place during their busy season isn’t fully booked - make sure your book early for their high season stay or go in the off season like we did….So quiet and peaceful!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Gersau, Hostel Rotschuo Jugend- und Familienferien is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

What an amazing stay we had. We swam tice a day and were treated like kings by the staff. So accommodating and friendly. they even gave us a tip on a ridge line hike in the area that was the highlight to our entire European trip.

I originally planned to stay in Lucerne, but I chose Weggis instead for three nights — and I’m so glad I did. Just half an hour from Lucerne by ferry, Weggis offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere with breathtaking lake views. Perfectly situated right on the lake, with Mount Rigi station within walking distance. From there, you can take the gondola (cable car) and then the classic train up to Mount Rigi — an unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Waking up to that view was magical. Hotel provide me guest card which was use free for cable car and Rigi train trip. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, guiding me to sightseeing options. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. The ferry rides across the lake were stunning, and every moment in Weggis felt relaxing and rejuvenating. I will definitely return to Seehotel Gotthard Hotel with my family on my next visit. Weggis was a true gem and a great find — peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.
