We´ve just spent a couple of days at the brandnew YI Hotel Mykonos, and we could not have had a better time. Classy, stylish, luxurious, beautiful, with breathtaking rooms in a unique design that combines traditional farm house features with the famous modern Cycladic theme including high-end bathrooms. A stunning pool area boasting the largest and at the same time longest pool in Mykonos as well as a fashionable bar area with its very own in-house DJ. And located right above Elia Beach, which is definitely one of Mykonos´ finest. Breakfast is mouth watering. All freshly prepared and offering a wide range of local delicacies and fresh fruits as well as anything you would expect from a top class continental breaksfast buffet. After breakfast the area turns into an all-day restaurant, so if you don´t feel like venturing out you can easily spend the entire day here. But what to us made this hotel so spectacular and exceptional was its staff. They managed that very fine and difficult to achieve balance between the impecable professionalism of an elegant luxury hotel and true Greek hospitality with a genuine care for each guest and the wish to make their stay as memorable as possible. Mr. Nikos and his team could not have made us feel more welcome and we thank each and every one of them and are already looking forward to seeing them again in the near future. By the way: if you can, splash out on a suite with sea view and a pool – it´s definitely worth it!

Where do I start?? Everything!!! This was my final stop in a 2 week Greece hopping trip. I gave a 9 for location because it is a little out of the way and reaching areas is either a long walk or you need a transfer. Do what I did not do and rent a buggy!!! There is ample parking. The room matches everything in the description and pictures. My private pool was so fantastic that I did not care that I did not go to the beach!! I have never seen such a large shower!!! I could lay down in it!! I loved having pool towels and robe. When I did want to go to town, the staff helped arrange a transfer. Otherwise, book tours that include tranfers (my boat trip did). Food!! The restaurant is phenomenal!!! What a talented chef. I ate there all 3 nights. The staff is exceptional!! They do meet your every need and even one night when I was in my room, my lady dropped off my turn down treats!! They have a wonderful app you can download so all hotel information is accessible and you have communication. The only 2 things that would make this beyond the moon is having a more snack like menu-meat and cheese platter or small sandwiches for those days by the pool. I could not help missing breakfast as my tour was early (7:45) and breakfast was not until 8:00 so I had the breakfast box. It could be better. The one morning I had breakfast in the hotel, the pastries and bread were phenomenal. Adding some of those to the early breakfast box would elevate it instead of regualar white bread sandwich. I did enjoy the yogurt and boiled egg in the box. Again, this is an oasis and a great way to end my 2 weeks in Greece. If you can splurge, do it here!!!!

The property feels recent as we did no notice any signs of use and is kept very clean. We enjoyed its quietness away from noisy night life and were able to enjoy a very relaxing time. It is ideal for those looking for quietness and still be close to the nightlife (15min away). we found the place to be central and close to all major beaches, including wilder beaches in the north recommended to us by Maria. The hosts Maria and her sister Sofia were very kind and helpful, addressing all our questions and giving top recommendations based on our tastes. Not sure we would make it back to Mykonos, if only to experience again this level of hospitality at Maregold!

Utopia in American English ; any idealized place, state, or situation of perfection this is what this hotel feels like . from the lobby where you are greeted by the friendly hostesses to the restaurant where they take care of you royally . the design is outstanding as are the views . the corridors , normally forgotten by most hotels, are a modern replica of the streets of Mykonos . the manager Costas is always around checking that all is perfect for his guests . Utopia is truely a dream come true!

We have really enjoyed the place: 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom...plenty of space. A swimming pool only for us and large space outside to relax. We received also a cleaning service included in the price and the host was always available to support. Free parking just outside the house, nice terrace to enjoy the view around. Laundry available, Great shower as the water pressure was excellent and the place was very clean. These are important factors to score high The villa is not at walking distance from the beaches but the best ones can be reached in 5' by car and honestly it was better like this.

Kristina is always a delight to deal with, friendly, extra helpful and just all around a fantastic person. Boheme are little gems in a fantastic location facing sunset and the Elia Bay. Highly recommend them.
