Air conditioning is invaluable in the summer heat. Tea / coffee making set is also great to have. Breakfast was quite rich and of good quality. In-hotel garage is also very practical, especially as the parking situation is a real nightmare outside the hotel, essentially everywhere in the region. The veranda is a treat after a long journey. The hostel is right on the beach. It's neat, tidy and exceptionally well equipped with just about anything you might need for a longer stay. The district is very quiet (except when Croatian football team wins), and we didn't hear the neighbours at all. There's a large supermarket just across the railway, a bunch of coffee places, a mini park, reasonable beach access and a few ocean view points.
