The place is very beautiful, well maintained and not a lot of guests. A clean salt water pool (no chlorine) with a view over the beach. Breakfast was good, and air conditioning works very well. Hands down, one of the best places I've stayed so far in Keramas. There are dogs on the property, but they're friendly and vaccinated.

KOMANEKA is the place we keep coming back. First is the hotel itself, really well located villas in front of the beach with a pool and a see view. Also located 5 min walk to one of the best waves in Bali. Second is the people, they are all lovely and will do anything to make your stay the most enjoyable as possible. Third it’s a Balinese owned place, not a big hotel chain.

We stay at a lot of hotels, and my husband does a stellar job of finding interesting places on our travels. However, the Meru at Sanur Beach, Bali, is an architectural marvel. I love all of the wood, water elements, landscaping, and clean lines. It is somehow both innovative and blends with more traditional design. It all very calming. These photos are only glimpse.

Great location on a quiet spot on the beach. Hotel has a section of the beach which is kept clean and has loungers and umbrellas. Beautiful pool area. The staff are the stars of this resort. Friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Good selection at breakfast and good food at both restaurants. Special shout out to Gustra and Chandra though all staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. We stayed there for 11 days and then moved to Nusa Dua but decided to return to The Bali Beach Hotel for another 8 days. There is a walking path from the hotel to the new Icon shopping mall and along the way there are stores and restaurants.
