We had everything we needed (thanks Marco) in a beautiful room, steps from the lido, pedestrian stroll and the ferry port. Just like in the picture, we could have a drink on our balcony and look at the sea or take a very short walk to an array of restaurants. Galene is also close to a great laundromat if you need.

We stayed in the one-bedroom unit called Giada. The building of the unit and several other buildings form a semi-enclosed area so there is no through traffic, feeling quiet and safe. The private parking spot at far end of the parking lot is a big plus and is the main reason we chose the place. The famous Path of the Lemons can be accessed by the next street to the east.

If I could rate La Serenata and the hosts higher than a 10, I would! The room was easy to find and the location is amazing. Even though it is on a Main Street in Maiori, we didn’t have any issues with outside noise interrupting our sleep or relaxation. We stayed in the Smrelda room and the pictures online match it exactly. It’s tastefully decorated and very clean. We had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the Sea. There was ample space for our luggage, and a clothing rod with a few hangers. The shower always had hot water with good pressure. There were many options on the tv in English and the WiFi was excellent. The hosts Guisy and her husband were very accommodating, we requested extra pillows and they were in the room within an hour. Guisy even arranged last minute transportation for us to the airport. If we ever make it back to the Amalfi Coast, we will definitely choose La Serenata again and again!

The check-in was easy and communication was great. The building and room were beautiful and well maintained. We drove a car and parking was very close to the room and easy to find. Staff greeted us promptly on arrival and explained everything perfectly. The location was ideal to walk the path of lemons and close to the water and shops/restaurants. Our balcony even had a view of the water.
