Staying here was the perfect way to finish my 3 week trip in Japan. Usami is a quiet town on the beach and great for relaxing. This property is in a great location in Usami, just a few minutes walk from the train station and the beach. From here it’s also easy to day trip to other areas in Izu. I did an awesome day trip to Jogasaki Coast! The facilities were spacious and clean, and the hot spring, foot bath, and balcony were great additions to the property. Lastly the property owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They helped make my time in Usami memorable. If I come back to Izu I’ll definitely look to stay here again.

It was in the style of traditional ryokan with futons for sleeping. Plenty of space with modern conveniences of stove, microwave, etc. It was quiet and peaceful with easy access to the town and beach areas.

Great stay! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the station. It offers a true Japanese home experience, and having the whole place to yourself makes it even better. You can cook if you want, and they even provide free bicycles to explore the area. The private onsen (one-time use) was a fantastic bonus, and the place is close to the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The massage chair was a nice touch, and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

If I were to describe our stay at this hotel with one word, it would be; EXCEPTIONAL!!! Huge luxurious room. Extremely cozy bed. Peaceful onsen area. The front desk staff was the kindest gentleman who went above and beyond with his hospitality. We had a wonderful view of the beach and the mountains from the balcony in our room. Lastly, I had the best breakfast of my life at this hotel!

Very spacious and clean. We even slept in the living room throughout the trip with 4 adults and a kid. The overlooking view is very similar to the image shown which is spectacular. Has a very quiet neighborhood. There's a nearby restaurant in the neighborhood and grocery store. There's a nearby beach but we weren't able to go due to other itineraries. For the car parking lot, i think it is difficult for the beginners since it's very steep but we manage and have less difficulty in parking. On the main road, there are surrounding restaurants and stores so it is very convenient for those with cars.
