It was a dormitory and I was worrying about the noise. But it was very quiet at night and lights were turned off by the staff at 11pm, which was nice. I was able to sleep well. The location is walkable from the station. Neighborhood is quiet. There was a map showing shops and restaurants nearby at the guesthouse. The owner kindly told us a vegetarian dinner option (an udon restaurant which opens till late, just 5min walk from the guesthouse). Luggage storage after checkout was also possible.

It was an pleasant walk to the harbor and the beach. There's a playground nearby and a Lawson's conbini is a short walk. It was quiet even though within a couple blocks of the train. The tatami mat room was lovely.
