The whole house is so modern and well done. It would be cute in winter too. The drive here from Kyoto is also beautiful. We were also able to day trip to Ine and Amanohashidate from the house easily. I recommend this spot for families, couples or friends.

Location was stunning. The garden outside of our first floor room, along the canal was peaceful and serene. I loved that they provided a futon mat to sit/lay down on to enjoy the outside as well. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. Loved making coffee in the room each morning and enjoying the view. Beds extremely comfortable and cozy. The private in-room onsen was delightful. We had a fabulous time riding along the peninsula on the one speed bicycles provided by the hotel.

We had a very relaxing stay at Uminone. We shared a room with five people and were comfortable with the space. It was very clean with a large bedroom and a big living space where they put three floor futons. The view of the water was nice and the air conditioning kept us cool on very hot days. The staff was excellent, so attentive and helpful with any of our needs. The food was yummy, our favorite meal was the BBQ outside overlooking the water. We wanted some time to relax in between visiting the popular cities of Japan and this was the perfect spot to do it. The beach area is clean and surrounded by mountains and there are some hikes you can do as well. The town is a bit sleepy but we wanted the down time so it was great.
