The view is amazing! The location is right on the waterfront. It's an active fishing port so you cat watch the boats come and go. More exciting than a beach stay in my opinion. The rooms are also amazing. So clean!

Great ocean view. At the best area in Atami. The superior room open bath is great.

This place is phenomenal and you really get a sense of Atami being here. The home is so nice and is just a short walk away from good food spots, too. The host is so warm and welcoming, very friendly and helpful. We were so happy with our stay here and would love to return in the future! Actually, on our entire vacation of 3 weeks, this has been the best place we’ve stayed in, lodging wise and city wise. We LOVED being in Atami and this lovely home! Thank you to the host for having us there.

We were looking for a nice place to spend the weekend somewhere around Atami with nice views of the ocean. The views from this house were incredible. It’s nestled up in the hills high above Atami and so it was just fabulous sitting outside on the balcony with a cold beer around sunset. It is an older home, but this just brings another layer of charm. It is also extremely quiet and peaceful, so in addition to the serenity of sundown and the view of the ocean below it’s really wonderful to sit and listen to all of the birds chirping in the trees around the property. The property faces east, so although you don’t actually see the sunset directly in the evening, we still got to enjoy the fabulous orange and pink hues in the sky in the evening at sunset, and then you do get to enjoy a direct and beautiful sunrise first thing in the morning. The property is also extremely large, with more than enough space to very comfortably accommodate eight people. It also has a very large hot spring inside the shower area, and so you’re able to sit and look at the ocean down below while you take a shower or soak in the bath. Also, although the property is nestled up in the hills, it’s only about a 15 minute drive to one of the nicest beaches in the area, Nagahama beach. And there was parking for two cars which was great as we drove down from Tokyo in two cars for the weekend. Finally, the owners were wonderful people. Kanemitsu-san took great care in making sure everyone was happy and that we had everything we needed. It just again made the whole experience very nice. For anyone looking for a relaxing weekend down in Atami with a group of people, I really do recommend this. We’ll definitely be going back.

I liked this hotel a lot! It is located in front of a beach, it's close to the station, the host is a nice person. He served basic breakfast and took me to the station on my way back. I saw some people complaining about breakfast and I don't understand why. It is stated it will be basic. Two toasts, an egg or a sausage and a drink. I eat less for breakfast when I cook it myself. And it's free. The rooms are exactly like on the photos, it's very clean. From amenities you have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a tooth brush.

Amazing view to the sea! You can watch the sunrise from the room. Amazing Onsen, very nice breakfast, spacious room, very good location.

Very friendly hosts, they picked me up from the station when I could not find the place. They also invited me to their family barbecue which was really kind.

Beautiful stay. Wonderful staff would recommend for the seafood and onsen
