Cleanliness, steps to the beach, very attentive staff, nice pool and the best tacos ever right across the street. Plenty of A/C and hot water. Very comfortable bed too. There's an Oxxo about 10 blocks away. We were 10 minutes from centro Progreso by car.

The proximity to the beach was wonderful as it was a 3 min walk. The house was airy and well lit. The pool on ground floor at the entrance was lovely. The lounge area next to it was also well thought. The kitchen was well equipped. There were multiple hammocks upstairs in the rooms and the balcony.

This property is full of colour and spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. Just a short walk to the beach and Main Street. Great pool.
Jacque's Beachside Hostel
Jacque, is the most wonderful person, running the accomodation professionally whilst allocating herself for any requests and making the stay a very happy place to be. Bringing her guests who choose, together for games, meals and recreation. Creating a sense of home and community. The location is wonderful, being close to the beach to enjoy breezes from the balconies and strolls with early activities of local fishermen bringing in their catch for the day with excited gulls and pelicans in a frenzy. Facilities are exceptional in this grand colonial home. Impeccable in every way. Who ever has the chance to stay here will leave with a heart filled with happiness. I can see why many extend their stay. Great communal kitchen and dining area to enjoy gathering. Plenty of secluded places to enjoy quietness when desired. The swimming pool and surrounding space is tropical and private. The value is excellent for all that this property has to offer. I am a solo woman traveller from Australia who would return again and highly recommend staying for a very memorable experience.

Absolutely stunning place, has everything for a delightful stay. Great communication with owners, very safe, very comfortable apartment hotel.
We were 1hr late and it was dark. We were directed by GPS to the wrong place. Then stopped using waze and used google and it directed us to the right place . We met a nice man who lived in the complex Allen from Edmonton Canada who helped us. He brought us over to meet the caretaker and he was the one who had the key and appartment access
