From the moment we booked, Cristina's response to queries was exceptional. Willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Our flight arrived (late) after midnight and yet Antonio was waiting at the apartment building with his lovely wife to greet us with big smiles and welcomes and to show us the apartment. They had left a bowl of fruit, bread, milk, water, and coffee for us which was much appreciated. The location of the apartment was excellent - 10 minute walk to Old Town, 10 mins to the harbour. Close to plenty of restaurants, and with a charming bakery next door. The apartment itself was spotless, and very large - with two good size double bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a very large living area and a well-equipped kitchen. There was also a small balcony with a fabulous view over the red roofs to the sea.

Location!!!! Comfortable and Very quiet for being in the heart of old town . The host was waiting for us at the location, in spite of the flight cancellation, re-booking and 2 additional time delays.

Amazing location right on the beach! Most of the beach is rocky but there is a black sand section further down. Access to a pool was also a highlight. Our host was very kind and considerate. He was in close contact and came to drop off a nice bottle of Madeira wine.
