Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool

Clean room with mosquito net and fan. Nice balcony with a view of the Lagune. Nice place to eat and drink close to the water. Super helpful staff. Thank you for everything!!!

The house is at good location - close to the port, to the cental street, but at the same time in a quiet area just next tto the sea. We had a nice view to beach and the football playground. There is a terrace with a table and chairs. The kitchen is well equipped and we found also tea and coffee there. The lady was very nice and helpful. And it's all for a very good price.

We had a fabulous stay at Joal Lodge. Samuel is a wonderful host, and took very good care of us. The lodge is very near the beach and local amenities. The location is safe, secure and quiet. The locals are curious and friendly. Wandering the beach and village streets made for lots of good experiences. Our trip to Shell Island, an easy flat walk, was worthwhile and different again. Our transfer from Dakar ferry port was as arranged and without trouble. Samuel helped arrange our onward taxi, and currency exchange. The food was delicious, as was the gin! I wish we had time to stay longer!
