Kaj početi Miami Beach

Haulover Beach
The largest clothing-optional beach in the US, Haulover Beach is an impressive sight. You’ll love the freedom of swimming in the clear sea, the Florida sunshine warming your skin. With soft white sand and umbrellas available to rent, this Miami hotspot makes hanging in your birthday suit a very relaxing experience.
Lummus Park Beach
With clear turquoise waters, soft white sand and swaying palm trees, Lummus Park Beach is the very picture of paradise. You can stroll along the shore, work out in the outdoor gym or cycle on the sunny boardwalk. If some serious sunbathing is what you’re after, rent a lounge chair and relax to the sound of the waves.
South Pointe Park Beach
South Pointe’s white sand and clear waters will have you swimming all day, but for those after a bit of exercise, the boardwalk makes for a great run or cycle. You can also work out in the outdoor gym or take a stroll along the shores for some people watching. At sunset the park is lit up in colour, and makes for a romantic photo op.
kongresni center Miami Beach
If you’re in town on business, chances are you’ll be coming here. This convention centre is an Art Deco classic – the façade gleams in pearly white, its squared corners jutting skywards like an alabaster cut-out. Inside, vast halls host events ranging from choreography to comics. And guess what? It’s just five minutes from the beach, so pack those flip-flops!

sprehajališče Lincoln Road
If you’ve got cash to splash, dash to Lincoln Road. This pedestrian street is Miami Beach’s shopping Shangri-La. If you’re hankering after a Swarovski necklace or the latest Adidas treads, this is the place for you. But bulging pockets aren’t essential to a Lincoln Road visit. Pull up a seat at a café – there’s prime people-watching that offers plenty of bang for your buck.
Lincoln Road
Espanola Way
Historic Espanola Way has hosted some colorful characters throughout the years, including Al Capone and the crew from Miami Vice. The stretch between Washington and Drexel Avenues is a great example...
Espanola Way
zgodovinsko območje Art Deco
Two words you’ll hear mentioned a lot around Miami Beach – Art Deco. This egregious architectural style defines the city, with pastel hues and rounded balconies that evoking an aesthetic born in the “brave new world” of the 1920s. This museum’s greatest asset is its walking tours – you’ll learn about Miami Beach’s finest Art Deco gems, including the extravagant Versace mansion.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden
Need a break from busy beaches, glistening muscle and eardrum-busting music? If you fancy a leafy respite, escape to Miami Beach’s Botanical Garden. This compact space is a mini-oasis of trickling ponds, fragrant frangipani and shaded spaces. Grab a bench and breathe deep. It’ll be a tip-top tonic to get you back in the game. And the best part is that it’s absolutely free!
Ocean Drive
Bars, cars and stars. This beachside strip is the essence of South Beach’s extravagant party scene. Big rims, bulging wallets and million-dollar smiles abound here, drawn in by lurid neon and pounding beats. Dress to the nines and swagger into Mango’s, Palace or Clevelander. Bouncing hip-hop and lolloping reggaeton music will keep your body poppin’ till sunrise. Party on!
Ocean Drive
Gledališče Jackie Gleason
The story of The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater began in 1950, when Golden Era Legends graced the stage of The Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium. Guests came from around the world to watch such shows as song and dance performances, comedy or even the occasional boxing match. Sometimes, the real performances were in the seats - Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Jack Benny were regular visitors to the auditorium and often caused quite a stirring.
golf igrišče Bayshore
Originally opened as the Bayshore Golf Course in 1923 as part of pioneering developer Carl Fisher's ambitious Alton Beach subdivision that was designed to lure wealthy winter residents from New York, Indianapolis and Detroit.
For a taste of the simple life, head to Surfside. On a long, pristine stretch of sand, this Miami Beach gem is perfect for a peaceful day by the sea. Early birds will be rewarded by a magnificent sunrise, and those who want to pepper their sunbathing with some jogging or biking will love exploring the paths through the dunes.
Crandon Park
With fine, white sand and swaying palm trees, the beach at Crandon Park is truly glorious. If you can manage to pull yourself away from the prime sunbathing conditions, head out into the park’s dunes for some walking or cycling. There's also volleyball, tennis and boating on offer here – not to mention BBQ facilities for a sunset feast!
Sunny Isles Beach
Sunny Isles Beach is known as Florida's Riviera for a reason. With two miles of bright sand stretching alongside aquamarine waters, it's hard to imagine a more stunning spot for a day of sunbathing. After getting that Miami glow, you could try your hand at some snorkelling or fishing off the pier. Then, finish your day feasting on fresh seafood at a waterside bistro.
South Pointe Park
With soft sand and warm water, South Pointe Park has all the perks of a coastal paradise, while being conveniently located in the heart of South Beach. Swing by for a day of sunbathing with 360-degree ocean views. It’s a Miami past time to spend the afternoon topping off your tan as you watch the boats go in and out of the harbour. je popotnike vprašal ...

Plaže ne doživijo vsi na isti način. Kako ste vi doživeli plažo na destinaciji Miami Beach?

Sunshine, miles of beautiful sand, ocean waves, palm trees, friendly people. Close to nature on the beach side and in the mix of South Beach action on Ocean Drive. Relaxation and doesn't get better than this.
Very crowded and noisy on South Beach. We found beaches out of town that were much quieter, cleaner and just perfect for lazing around. However no waves anywhere so no good for surfing or body boarding in Miami.
Haulover Beach was a great change of pace from the electricity of Miami Beach
We did the hop on hop odd tour on the red bus- but there is minimal commentary, the ear phones do not work, the drivers don't stop at all the stops. If you are going to do hop in hop off try the big bus company
Lummus Park and the beach is perfect for runners. The best time is early morning, there are no pedestrians, no crowd. Afternoon sunset run is also great, but not in the park, but on the beach.
SoBe is famous for its high octane atmosphere but you don't need to travel far to find some relative peace and quiet. Beaches are groomed each day so always appear clean and tidy
Beautiful white sand stretching up to the high rise in North Beach. Great for sunbathing, invest in an umbrella either on the beach bring your own as the sun shines brightly :)
The beach is 100% public and goes on for miles. It's perfect for walking and running. You can easily find groups of people or you can easily find quiet spots.
The beach is very clean and large and never feels overcrowded.Well covered by lifeguard stations and cabanas selling food, drinks and sun creams
The EMERALD GREEN WATERS of the ATLANTIC are breathtaking and the reflections of neon green from the birds wings overhead is amazing.

Vrhunci mesta Miami Beach

In 1944 the pharmacist Benjamin Green produced the world's first sunscreen in his kitchen in Miami Beach. And once you feel the strong tropical sun here, you'll understand why he did!
Miami Beach is the closest you'll get to tropical sun in the US without going to Hawaii. With mild winters and warm waters, it's a great place to get your tan on ... but it's best to avoid it in the summer, when the sun can be very strong and the monsoon season brings daily rains.
Vroče vreme
South Beach, Miami isn’t just famous for its Latin-infused culture and Art-Deco buildings. It’s an area where bodies are buffer, bikinis tinier, and ‘mankinis’ … well, let’s not go there! After dark, the temperature rises on its beachfront promenade, when scintillating nightspots open for business and the Caribbean beats start pounding.
