A must-visit if you’re in Las Terrenas and want to escape the crowds while staying close to the incredible Playa Cosón, which is perfect for surfing and also great for swimming.

This accommodation definitely exceeded all our expectations. The units are just like in the pictures. Everything is extremely clean and breakfasts were incredibly yummy. We loved the sounds of nature at night and it didn't bother us at all. We loved the warm water coming out of the shower too. This is probably the best accommodation we have had in our entire lives. It is definitely worth the experience. Mauricio and his wife are wonderful hosts who will make your stay PERFECT.

Empyrean Tropical Wellness Portillo in Las Terrenas provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. Very cute hotel, close to the beach, and the staff was amazing and always available to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and the restaurant/bar fairly priced.
