It was my birthday and i even git a present and a birthday cake 😍😍 i enjoyed my stay a lot!! And i slept in the softest sheets ever! 😍😍

The hotel is very new, and the service is excellent. You can tell a lot of thought went into the interior design—stylish and well-executed. The breakfast is also quite good; the cheese chicken wrap is delicious, though it's not available every day. On weekend evenings, there's live music at the bar, which creates a great atmosphere. I also really liked the mystery box cocktails—they were a fun surprise.

AJ Residence - Above Peppermint Asia City is located in Kota Kinabalu, less than 1 km from Filipino Market Sabah, 2.8 km from Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village, as well as 5.5 km from North Borneo... The exterior is a bit intimidating as it’s located above shops. But when I step inside, I was impressed by its interior features. Feeling like 5 stars accommodation. The features inside the room are very futuristic such as touch switches to turn on lights. The landlord was very helpful through the WhatsApp chat. I can have my luggage stored before and after checkout.
