It was on the top of the ridge, and the large bedroom windows gave me a full view of the lake. It was an easy walk to the restaurants and hiking trail. The owners were friendly and answered all of my questions. I have never slept better at night die to the lack of surrounding noise and lack of cars on the island.

We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

The room was of a lovely standard very comfortable bed and the best view I’ve ever had from a room I’ve stayed in. They sent a lady and a donkey down to pick up our luggage from the beach which was a great help as it was an incredibly steep Hill up to the Accommodation but worth a walk.

TITI QALA HOSTEL tiene una zona de playa privada, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Comunidad Challapampa. Las habitaciones están equipadas con un patio con vistas a la montaña y WiFi gratis. Excelente ubicación, el anfitrión, Pablo, muy amable, me ayudó en todo lo que surgía. Desayuno bastante completo, lindas vistas. Cuenta con estufa, un detalle muy importante.

Nice view to the habour. You do not have to climb the stairs at is near the habour. Even the retaurant was closed the staff came back a made Dinner. I can fully recommend

Con un jardín y vistas a la ciudad, Hostal Inti Uma Kala está situado en Comunidad Challapampa, a 2.8 km de Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla. The view of the hostel was amazing, especially for sunrise. Hot showers and comfortable beds.
